Folgarida is a fraction of the municipality of Dimaro and constitutes itself as one of the most interesting ski resorts, its territory is characterized by the presence of various vegetative species, among which we mention larches and firs, but also hazelnuts and maple trees.

The Folgarida area hosts numerous tourist facilities, especially hotels, and in the area there are many houses, public offices and a church.

Near the mountains there are also large grassy fields, which make the territory even more beautiful and interesting; from this area it is also possible to enjoy the extraordinary spectacle offered by the Valle del Sole, part of the Dolomites and the numerous ski facilities.

This locality was born as a tourist point for alpine ski enthusiasts, the territory is divided into two main parts: Folgarida Bassa, which is located in the part of the Val di Sole and Folgarida Alta, which offers the panorama of the Dolomites; the two areas are however extremely close to each other.

Next to the town of Folgarida we find that of Marilleva, both offer numerous ski slopes, thirty in all and they have organized themselves to allow night skiing, so that the experience of a holiday in this area is even more unforgettable.
