The town of Malé was born in Roman times, and the first evidence of the presence of the Roman people in the area dates back to the 2nd century AD, inside the village we find some buildings of particular beauty, such as the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta, which built around 1180; subsequently it underwent some modifications, until the last one which took place during the 1800s and whose renovations still remain today.

Its importance is centuries old, in fact Malè, which today is the most important municipality in the district, already in the past housed one of the most interesting markets, it was also one of the main headquarters for mining.

Malè presents itself as a town with a modern structure, this configuration is mainly due to the reconstruction that took place after the great fire that almost completely destroyed the village in 1892; the main activity of the country is tourism, but the economic sector is also based on fruit cultivation, breeding and metalworking.

In the village there are also many characteristic shops, where it will be possible to buy and observe numerous objects and souvenirs of the place; In the past, Malè was also an important center for commerce, in fact traders from the territories of the Alps arrived in the village, but also from Hungary and Austria.

Stadio del Ghiaccio (Ice stadium) :

The Stadio del Ghiaccio (Ice Stadium) is an ice rink that the municipality of Malè, in the heart of the Valle di Sole, makes available to its citizens and tourists who come to the town to spend their winter holidays.

The Ice Track measures 30m. x 60 m. and is approved for ice skating, figure skating, hockey and broomball.

The Stadio del Ghiaccio (Ice Stadium) also has a space for the rental of skates and offers the possibility of requesting skating courses for the most diverse levels of preparation. Next to the structure there is also a bar where you can relax after sport.

Covered pool:

The town of Malè, the main town in the Valle di Sole, offers its citizens, but also tourists, both in summer and winter, a splendid swimming pool for relaxing, practicing sports and spending pleasant days.

In the pool, swimming lessons are organized for the little ones, water aerobics, synchronized swimming and water polo.

The complex consists of a Olympic tank, 25m x 15m, with six lanes, passes from a depth of 120cm to one of 180cm and the temperature reaches 28 degrees, a Relaxation pool, with whirlpool and deck chairs and a Baby pool, for the little ones, where the temperature is 30 degrees and the height of only 30cm.

The swimming pool is open all week from Tuesday to Sunday, from 15:00 to 22:30
